"Lewis County, New York" In the Heart of New York State Natural Resources

Colwell's Farm Market

Retail Trade: Specialty

Our greenhouses are opened the end of April. We have a large selection of annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets. We are known for good quality and very reasonable prices. Spring is also a time when we are very busy planting our crops; sweetcorn, tomatoes, pumpkins, greenbeans, etc. We are well known for our excellent sweet corn. We usually start harvesting the sweet corn mid July and keep harvesting until frost. We also grow tomatoes, summer squash, and cucumbers. We offer U-pick tomatoes. We grow acres of pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, and ornamental corn. We get direct from the orchard New York apples, pears and fresh cider. We sell quality local Fraser and Balsam Fir Christmas trees. We make all the wreaths, kissing balls, and center pieces with assorted decorations for the Christmas Season.
